After receiving your inquiry, we will begin with an initial consultation to discuss your idea, reference images, or overall theme for the artwork. From there, I will begin the creation process by sketching the main compositional elements. These sketches will be shared with you so we can discuss feedback and determine the final direction of the piece.

Once the composition is approved, we will define the color palette for the work. This can also be included in your initial inquiry if you already have a preference. After the colors are finalized, I will send a refined sketch incorporating the agreed composition and palette. Please note that the final sketch is still a rough representation of the overall composition and color placement.

I accept a limited number of commissions each year in order to maintain the quality and attention given to each piece.

• Typical timeline: 2–8 months from the initial consultation to final delivery, depending on the scale of the work and current schedule.

Commissions for oil paintings begin at $100 for simple works, with the smallest standard size being 16 × 20 inches. For smaller-scale works, I also offer 9 × 12-inch portrait paintings. These pieces are more limited in scope and are best suited for simpler compositions. The final price is determined by several factors, including:

• Canvas size

• Composition complexity

• Number of subjects or figures

• Level of detail required

Each commission is quoted individually after the consultation phase.

Once we have agreed on the canvas and size of the artwork, I will provide the final price for the commission. Shipping costs are not included in this price and will be added separately. The client is responsible for covering shipping, which will be calculated and included in the final total.

After you approve both the final price and the pencil sketch, a 50% non-refundable deposit will be required to begin the painting. The remaining balance will be due upon completion of the artwork. The piece will be shipped once the full payment has been received.

All commissions are completed under a signed contract outlining the scope of the work, timeline, payment terms, and delivery details.
